The hotel is ideally located for your golfing holiday with the attraction of being able to play on a different course each day of your stay with us. Although we do not have the facilities of our own course we are well positioned for you to take advantage of the numerous courses available in The Wye Valley and the surrounding area.
There are three courses within a few minutes drive, these being; The Ravens Causeway at Wormsley, a very pleasant, undulating course: then there is The Kington Golf Club, being the highest course in England and Wales, with magnificent views across Herefordshire and across to Wales; thirdly there is The Belmont Golf Club, set in the grounds of Belmont House on the banks of The River Wye. Also there are some 10 other courses all within comfortable reach of the hotel, some will be old favourites and some new ones to test your skills.

I hope you will agree that what we lack in not having our own course is more than made up for in the variety and choice we are able to offer you.

You can choose to make your own arrangements with the clubs which will give you the freedom to play where you like, or you can take advantage of our special inclusive rates and let us look after things. Whatever you choose we will be pleased to assist with any arrangements you may care to make when planning your stay with us.

We will also be pleased to discuss special rates for larger parties of friends, societies or club bookings.

We specialise at the hotel in holidays for the sports minded person who is not only looking for good sport, but who also requires some comfortable accommodation, good food and the kind of warm, friendly atmosphere you would expect to find amongst a group of such like-minded people. Whilst for any non-playing members of your party we are within easy reach of such places as Mid-Wales, The Cotswolds, Hereford, Ross-On-Wye, Ledbury, Ludlow and The Malverns, with their many and varied attractions.
