Fishing update

Despite the heat our 8 mile stretch of the Moccas Fishery on the river Wye is producing plenty of chub and a good few barbel.

We've also had pleasing number of salmon in the stretch with 4 taken of between 14-19lbs.

Fishing is available to both the guests of the hotel, and day ticket anglers.

The coarse fishing season is upon us, and we're looking forward to welcoming our many anglers to the banks of the River Wye.

In all we have some 8 miles of fishing known as The Moccas Fishery, with some very impressive fish produced from its waters over the years.

So whether your a dab hand or new to the sport come and give it a try.

The news - we've updated and modernised our website and hope you find it easy to use. If you have any constructive feedback please leave a comment.

The plan for this page is to highlight the many events and attractions that Herefordshire and the surrounding counties have offer which are all in easy reach from us, such as The Hay Festival, The Royal Welsh Show, Down on the Farm, The 3 Counties Show etc.
