Are you new to fishing?

Our stretch of fishery water along the River Wye is the perfect place to learn. You will need a licence and the right equipment, then we provide day tickets which are available from our reception or bar daily from 8am, and will be on hand to show you on the map where is best for you to go and fish.

Day tickets are available for residents of the hotel and people just visiting for the day. However, if you stay with us you will have access to a greater stretch of the fishery.

The Canal & River Trust have some great learn to fish information to help get you started.

August is here and with it Bredwardine's annual village fete and bank holiday BBQ.

There's always a great atmosphere of community spirit rain or shine, (fingers crossed for the latter), with local produce, games, music and food on offer. And it just so happens that this year the Bredwardine Art Group are exhibiting their art at the village hall at the same time, along with tea and cakes for sale.

Whether your are a local from Bredwardine itself, from any of the neighbouring Herefordshire villages, or from further afield everyone is welcome. The more the merrier.
