The Red Lion Hotel dates back to the 17th century, and rather than 'rip out' history we've kept the oak panelling, low beams, wonky floors and lead-lined window panes.

You've probably guessed already, but just in case - we don't offer ultra-modern, uniform, box-like rooms.

What we do offer is a warm welcome and clean, comfortable rooms with modern facilities, including...

£90-£125 for single occupancy per night.
£115-£220 based on 2+ people sharing.
​Prices are per night inclusive of bed, full English breakfast and VAT. All stays 2+ nights. Long stay discount available for 4+ nights.

Dogs
Well behaved dogs are welcome in rooms 9, 10 & 11, at a cost of £10.00 per dog per night. There is a max 2 dogs per room, and they must not be left unattended at any time. We ask that you bring their bedding, towels, etc and do not allow them onto the furniture or beds.
Deposit
1st nights accommodation cost per room. Deposits are not refundable if the booking is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice. ​If we have to close the hotel due to local or national lock down due to the Covid-19 pandemic we will refund 100% of your deposit or enable you to reschedule to a later date subject to availability. The choice will be yours.
Camping
We are sorry, but contrary to some maps, The Red Lion Hotel no longer offers camping.
